Built by one of Val d'Isere's oldest families, Chalet Appaloosa combines a traditional design with a comfortable and modern finish making it a very popular choice with guests travelling in larger groups.
Spread out over 4 floors, the chalet is extremely spacious with the top floor living rooms offering lots of comfortable seating, a wood burner and its TV/DVD player for your entertainment.
The chalet has its own excellent wellness centre helping you to relax through the evening with its great facilities including a jacuzzi and steam room - the perfect way to relax your muscles after a day on the slopes.
All bedrooms in the chalet are well designed, spacious and offer their own en-suite facilities.
Chalet Appaloosa is set in a peaceful location in Val d'Isere but is still within 5 minutes walk of the resort centre. The ski lifts sit a further 3 minutes away making for easy access to both the slopes and apres each day. A free ski shuttle will also take you to the resort and lifts should you decide you don't want to walk.

One of the world's favourite ski resorts, Val d'Isère has access to the best all-around ski area in the world, the Espace Killy. With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and conditions are seldom disappointing).
The main centre of Val d'Isère has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and Savoyard style wood structures.
Ski holidays to Val d'Isère were revolutionised with the introduction of après-ski in the 80s, when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
