Apartment Grizzly 102

Apartment Grizzly 102 has a fantastic location in Val d'Isère; whilst it benefits from being in a quiet area of the resort, it's just 500 metres from the centre of the village and a few steps from the closest ski slope, so you can ski back within very close distance.

The apartment is designed in the classic Savoyard style, featuring heavy use of wood coupled with cosy fur blankets and a beautiful fire place. The views from the balcony over the mountains are stunning; it's the perfect place to relax after a busy day and admire the mountains.

Grizzly 102 has three bedrooms; a master ensuite, a double room and a twin room, which includes a single bed and a bunk bed (sleeping one). This is a self-catered apartment with an excellent kitchen and dining area. You'll arrive to find a gourmet welcome basket, toiletry products and ready-made beds awaiting your arrival. There's also a ski locker and parking space available for this looking to self-drive.

Val d'Isère

One of the world's favourite ski resorts, Val d'Isère has access to the best all-around ski area in the world, the Espace Killy. With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and conditions are seldom disappointing).

The main centre of Val d'Isère has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and Savoyard style wood structures.

Ski holidays to Val d'Isère were revolutionised with the introduction of après-ski in the 80s, when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
