Morzine ski resort offers access to the fantastic Portes du Soleil ski area. Go skiing in Morzine for a traditional, rustic town with a great choice of dining.
Morzine is a well-established ski resort with easy access to Geneva and hundreds of miles of pistes through its link with the enormous Portes du Soleil ski region. This traditional French farming town oozes Savoyarde charm, complete with attractions such as a weekly market, a multitude of traditional rustic chalets and a whole host of luxury accommodation and dining options.
The ski area covers everything from beginner to extreme freerider, all on one lift pass. This coupled with the town's proximity to Geneva makes Morzine an ideal destination for ski weekends.

Morzine is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area which connects Avoriaz, Chatel, Les Gets and many more ski resorts all into one giant circuit with 600km of skiable slopes. The area is perfect for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers alike with a high volume of blues and reds.
Those who enjoy cross-country skiing have approximately 48km of cross-country skiing trails in Morzine.
Beginners will find gentle nursery slopes around Morzine as well as in nearby Avoriaz. Intermediate skiers have an almost infinite amount of challenging ski area with a plethora of cruising blues and steeper, more challenging reds. Advanced skiers looking for the hardest slopes in the area will be happy to find plenty of black runs including the infamous ‘Wall’ in Avoriaz. Freeride skiers can also expect to find some extremely enjoyable powder bowls through scenic trees.
Snowboarders will find long, wide pistes in Morzine and some fantastic off-piste through the trees and into powder bowls. Beginner snowboarders will enjoy the gentle, quiet slopes which are perfect for building up technique on. The terrain parks in Les Gets and Avoriaz are also worth visiting if you’re looking to practice your rails and kickers.

There are lots of choices for childcare in Morzine, with ESF's ski kindergartens available for children from three years old, as well as private nanny services with Cheeky Monkey’s Childcare. For those looking for a nursery, the L’Outa Childcare Nursery is a perfect place for children from three months old to stay.
