The resort itself has a huge 3,269 acres of terrain and 128 marked slopes all for your enjoyment. SilverStar is renowned for its fantastic snow with a whopping seven metres on average every year. The unique and colourful buildings are visible from up on the slopes and skiers will feel as though they are looking down onto a miniature film set. The pedestrian-only village is perfect for families and groups, especially with the large variety of terrain, ranging from cruisy blues to challenging double blacks.
SilverStar has a wide variety of accommodation, including condos, hotels and apartments. Many of these are centred around the mid-mountain village and are ski-in ski-out, making SilverStar perfect for those looking to maximise their time on the slopes and lose the hassle of having to travel to the pistes. The village itself has a great handful of restaurants, shops and resort amenities such as equipment hire, ski school and childcare. However, this part does not boast many bars or pubs, making nightlife reasonably quiet. This means SilverStar is well-suited to families with younger children, or for groups that are looking for more relaxed après ski.
