Red Mountain Ski Resort Canada

Located in Rossland, British Columbia, Red Mountain is the first stop on Canada's famous Powder Highway. Red Mountain gives snow-lovers over 120km of pristine skiing with 7.6m of annual snowfall. Just a few years ago, Red Mountain expanded further onto Grey Mountain where there is mostly intermediate skiing with amazing conditions.

Many of the peaks have 360-degree descents, as well as some of the best tree-skiing in British Columbia, all of this steeped in rich tradition. With an amazing 2,919ft vertical drop, Red Mountain has some of the most scenic, panoramic skiing on offer.

Visitors to Red Mountain are encouraged to fly into Spokane International Airport in Washington and then transfer across the Canadian border. There is also the West Kootenay Regional Airport that is only 35 minutes away, however, it is often subject to poor visibility so flights can be unpredictable and cancelled.
