Over 50% of Panorama’s terrain is perfect for intermediate skiers; the long, wide groomed runs are stress-free and rarely busy so there’s plenty of space to explore the scenery. The abundance of varied blacks scribbled across the whole ski area will keep even the most discerning experts happy for hours. Intermediates with less confidence may find the terrain a little restrictive, but beginners will be happy with good nursery slopes and some pleasing long green runs.

Panorama ski resort is accessible for all levels of skiers. Most of the terrain is suited to experts and intermediates, however, at the base of the mountain, there are slopes for beginners. With a dedicated Discovery Zone where the lifts are slower and slopes are wide, it’s a great place to build your confidence. Adventure-seekers can take advantage of the incredible heli-skiing opportunites on offer in Panorama; the perfect way to experience the resort's stunning backcountry. On Saturday nights, the piste is open for night skiing.

Expert snowboarders can thoroughly enjoy all that Panorama has to offer, especially the endless amount of tree paths as well as the Extreme Dream Zone. Restaurants in Panorama

Panorama ski resort has a variety of restaurants ranging from formal dining to hassle-free family eat-outs and takeaways. The award-winning Earl Grey Lodge hosts a fine dining experience with set menus, while Chopper's Landing offers good value for money. The Summit Hut, located – as its name would suggest – at the top of the mountain (accessible by chair lift), entertains skiers with fondue and Canadian wine while they look out on stunning views of the Rockies.

Although mainly a family ski resort, there are some bars offering après and a selection of nightlife such as the Crazy Horse Saloon and Glacier Night Club. Drop in at the T-Bar and Grill for live music, or enjoy a barbecue with the ski school before watching the torchlit ski descent from the comfort of North America's largest slopeside hot pools. Out and about, later on, dining options include steak, pasta and pizza at several tasty restaurants.

Non-Skiers

Panorama ski resort s home to Canada’s largest on-mountain hot pools that are just what's needed after a day’s skiing. There are several pools of varying temperature on the slopes of Toby’s Creek, where you can watch skiers swish past. Get a bird’s eye perspective of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains on a tandem paraglide. From snowmobiling, fat-tire biking and snowshoeing to horse-drawn wagon rides and glass-bead making, non-skiers can be assured they will be kept busy.
