Riding through the trees in Filzmoos is only recommended for highly experienced riders due to the nature of the slopes. In the beginner’s area, there are some boxes and rails, yet Filzmoos lacks any dedicated freestyle area, making it better suited to lovers of off-piste. There is the Flachauwinkl area nearby which provides a great getaway for those wanting to spend time in the park.

Après ski is quieter in Filzmoos due to the size of the resort. However, there are still some good options for those wanting to keep going once the slopes are closed. The Kalahari Bar is a stylish cocktail bar boasting live music and DJs throughout the season. The Happy Alm and Alm Stadl are also great options for those looking to relax after a day of skiing.
