Boasting 100km of perfectly groomed piste, Bad Kleinkirchheim is a hidden jewel nestled in the heart of Austria. Its many hours of sun exposure and simply charming atmosphere make it a must-visit destination.
With 103 slopes across 300 hectares, there is more than enough piste to explore in Bad Kleinkirchheim. Virtually all the slopes are ideal for intermediates. The long Franz Klammer downhill run will enthuse experts as it runs from the top to the bottom of the resort. For beginners, there are nursery slopes and easy blue runs too. There is also an extensive array of cross-country skiing and off-piste.
For snowboarders looking to have some fun on the snow, there is a great freestyle park, fully equipped with rails, boxes and more. There is also a speed measuring track for some healthy competition amongst friends and family. The snowpark is easily accessible via the Maibrunn Gondola and Strohsack Gondola.

There are smaller ski schools that run ski kindergartens, perfect for getting little ones up on their skis. The Kindersnowland is quiet, fun and unintimidating, making it a great choice for the smallest of snow-lovers.
There are plenty of restaurants in Bad Kleinkirchheim, many of which specialise in local dishes and some with fine dining. From top-tier establishments right through to delicious home-style cooking, every visitor to the ski resort will find something to suit their taste buds (and budget).
Après ski in Bad Kleinkirchheim can start relatively early, despite being a quieter resort. The Almstube, Viktoria Pub, Club MC 99 and Take Five Dancing Club are long-standing favourites, with many hotels hosting much of the entertainment throughout the evenings. There is something for everyone in this resort, whether it be a relaxing glass of wine or glühwein in an Alpine bar, or something more upbeat and lively. For an alternative après experience, there are plenty of spas available for unwinding in.
For non-skiers, there are a variety of activities to keep everyone entertained. From snowtubing to sun terraces adorned with loungers, tobogganing, hiking, snowshoeing and ice-skating, too, visitors will find plenty to do within this quaint resort.
