Chalet Cherrier

Offers available

Chalet Cherrier is decorated to a high standard in a traditional Savoyard stone and wood style with modern furnishings. The chalet benefits from a large modern living/dining area, flat screen TV, all rooms with en-suite facilities and the added luxury of a sauna. Early booking is recommended as this chalet is a very popular choice.

The chalet is the ideal choice for skiers looking for excellent facilities and supremely easy access to both the skiing and the fantastic nightlife of Val d’Isere. The chalet is situated off the main street in the very centre of Val d’Isere with all the best après-ski spots a stone’s throw away. The popular ‘Le Petit Danois’ bar is located right opposite the chalet. The ski bus stop is only 40 metres (approx.) away and it is 300 metres (approx.) to the Solaise and Bellevarde lifts. There is hardly a better location in Val d’Isère.

Please note: due to the fantastic central location of the Chalet Cherrier and nearby bars and restaurants, the property is not recommended for families.

Val d'Isère

Val d'Isère is probably the resort that has access to the best all-round ski area in the world, the Espace Killy With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and the early- and late-season conditions are seldom disappointing.

The main centre of Val d'Isere has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and wood Savoyard style.

Val d'Isere ski holidays were revolutionised with the introduction of apres-ski in the 80s when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub, known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
