Chalet Shar Pei is a luxury chalet in a top location in Val D’Isere right by the Bellevarde chairlift. Very spacious and light, this chalet has large panoramic windows and contemporary furnishings mixed with wooden panelled walls and exposed stonework; a perfect combination of modern and traditional. The chalet’s living room is on the top floor to fully appreciate the extraordinary views and a terrace balcony around the room.

There are 4 double/twin bedrooms all with en-suites. One of the doubles has an adjoining bunk-bed room giving a family lots of private space if necessary.  All the rooms are tastefully decorated and with stunning views of Val D’Isere right outside.

To give this chalet an extra luxurious feel, there is a private indoor swimming pool and hammam, even the pool has views of the amazing scenery outside, so you can swim while taking in the stunning alpine views.

Val d'Isère

Val d'Isère is probably the resort that has access to the best all-round ski area in the world, the Espace Killy With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and the early- and late-season conditions are seldom disappointing.

The main centre of Val d'Isere has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and wood Savoyard style.

Val d'Isere ski holidays were revolutionised with the introduction of apres-ski in the 80s when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub, known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
