Chalet Lilas

Chalet Lilas is a perfect base to explore the Espace Killy ski area. Located within the four star L’Ecrin des Neiges Residence, the bright and comfortable apartment boasts a comfy, homely ambience.

Chalet Lilas happily sleeps eight people in four traditionally decorated bedrooms, with your own open plan living area, equipped with snug sofas.

There is also a large, communal lounge area, where you can unwind and relax in front of the open fireplace.

Located in the heart of the L’Ecrin des Neiges residence, in Val Claret, a stay in Chalet Lilas means you can enjoy easy access to all of Tignes amenities.

*This chalet style apartment is ideal and works really well when a family or group take over the apartment due to its shared facilities and cosy communal areas, although we are happy to sell on an individual room basis if requested.

There is a ski bus stop just outside the complex, and you’ll find the Trancorde moving rope, which takes you to the Funiculaire Grande Motte, located within a short distance of your door.

Within ten minutes’ walk from Chalet Lilas, you’ll also find the ski school meeting point, the ski school kindergarten, nursery slopes and a crèche – the perfect base for those travelling with kids!

Tignes

Ski holidays in Tignes offer lively atmosphere with world class snow-sure skiing on the doorstep.

Tignes was created before the French discovered the benefits of making purpose-built resorts look attractive, although it has to be said that  some attractive new buildings are being added. The renovated old village at the lowest point of the slopes is a favourite lunch spot and a friendly and nice place to stay.

Tignes lies at an altitude of 2,100m and the main settlement is at Tignes Le Lac, which also has a satellite suburb called Le Lavachet, but there is another satellite development along the road at Val Claret, at the foot of the lifts up to the Grande Motte. Getting between the various parts of Tignes is easy enough on skis during the day and Le Lac and Le Lavachet are within reasonable walking distance of each other. A shuttle bus service links Val Claret with the rest of Tignes. It runs frequently during the day, half-hourly after 8.30pm and hourly after midnight throughout the night.
