Chalet d'Isere

Conveniently located close to the slopes and the village centre of Val d’Isere, Chalet d’Isere was new of the winter 16/17 season and is very high quality. The chalet sits away from the centre of the village, meaning it is very quiet and tranquil, yet is only a five minute walk to the shops. The bus stop is also just a few seconds outside of the chalet, even in your ski boots!

Sleeping up to 16 guests in eight bedrooms, Chalet d’Isere has great bedrooms, lovely bathrooms and a superb living area with plush sofas, great for socialising in with your group. Gorgeous views are visible as far as the eye can see in every direction. The chalet provides an expert chef that will provide beautifully prepared meals, perfect to warm you up after a day out on the slopes of Val d’Isere. Val d'Isère

Val d'Isère is probably the resort that has access to the best all-round ski area in the world, the Espace Killy With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and the early- and late-season conditions are seldom disappointing.

The main centre of Val d'Isere has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and wood Savoyard style.

Val d'Isere ski holidays were revolutionised with the introduction of apres-ski in the 80s when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub, known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
