Chalet Amourette

Chalet Amourette is a beautiful freestanding property located in central Val d'Isere within the small and exclusive residence of Le Petit Alaska.

Inspired by traditional Savoyard architecture, this chalet blends seamlessly into the old village of Val d’Isere. Perched at the top of the estate this chalet feature breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains and the picturesque resort of Val d’Isere.

The large open plan living room with its picture windows, roaring fireplace and comfortable seating area is a perfect place to relax. French doors open onto the terrace where you'll find the outdoor hot tub and more stunning views. There is also an additional living room on the mezzanine level with a TV and cosy sitting area, perfect for children.

On the ground floor there is a well-equipped fitness room, ski room and a Turkish bath.

Val d'Isère

Val d'Isère is probably the resort that has access to the best all-round ski area in the world, the Espace Killy With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and the early- and late-season conditions are seldom disappointing.

The main centre of Val d'Isere has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and wood Savoyard style.

Val d'Isere ski holidays were revolutionised with the introduction of apres-ski in the 80s when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub, known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
