Built by Philippe Capezzone, the exquisite Chalet Black Pearl is spread over 3 floors and is ideally situated at the entrance of Val-d'Isere village. It is located at a 10 minutes walk to the heart of the resort (or 2 minute drive from the Funival lift of La Daille. 

The chalet was conceived to answer the most demanding criteria in terms of luxury and comfort. It has a wonderful mix of contemporary design mingles with traditional Savoyarde stone and classic wood paneling. 

The sitting area with its huge armchairs and comfortable sofas has a large open stone fireplace and is equipped with the latest flat screen LED television, Bose sound system, DVD player, Wi-Fi and i-Pod dock perfect to chill after a long day on the slopes. Its panoramic windows lead onto a sunny terrace.

Val d'Isère

Val d'Isère is probably the resort that has access to the best all-round ski area in the world, the Espace Killy With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and the early- and late-season conditions are seldom disappointing.

The main centre of Val d'Isere has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and wood Savoyard style.

Val d'Isere ski holidays were revolutionised with the introduction of apres-ski in the 80s when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub, known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
