Top Tip

If you’re planning to ski in North America, don’t just limit yourself to hotels.  There are so many apartment/condo options with great hotel style amenities and best of all they’ll offer you a living room and kitchen, particularly excellent for families.  Apartments in NA are generally much bigger than European apartments.

Winter in Tahoe is actually their low-season, therefore accommodation prices can be very reasonable.

Skiing History

I skied for the first time at 17 while on a school trip.  My next trip wasn’t until I was 21 when I spent a season in Breckenridge, Colorado.  I fell in love with the Rockies and the way North American ski resorts operate (very efficiently with excellent customer service).  I started working in the ski travel industry in London after that season.  I’ve always concentrated on North American resorts but since joining Ski Solutions I’ve started dealing with the many wonderful European resorts that we offer and am really enjoying selling both.

Best Moment

My first time tree skiing was in Beaver Creek with much much better skiers – scary but thrilling!
