USA Snow
Good late season skiing is still being enjoyed in a number of USA resorts. Higher temperatures than of late were present of Monday 29th April, bringing spring skiing back to most places. Loveland (173cm) and Arapahoe Basin (152cm) were the exception, where cooler temperatures maintained firm pistes on upper slopes and good weather for much of Monday 29th April. Late season specialists, Timberline (384cm), are also offering great skiing at the moment. The milder temperatures have created true spring conditions, and with plenty of lifts open, skiing is expected to be enjoyed right up to 27th May. Alta is now closed after a good final weekend. Changeable weather for those still open will bring with it the chance of fresh snow. Elsewhere, mild temperatures sunshine are forecast.
