USA Snow
Several more resorts in America closed over the weekend. The most surprising was Loveland who usually remain open until the beginning of May. A drier than usual season meant they had to close a week or two early but conditions were good to the end. Snowbird (206cm) in Utah remains open until 20th May so there are still a good few weeks left of the season yet. More than two metres of snow means there is plentiful skiing on the upper mountain. Only three lifts were running on Monday 30th April but another three will open for the coming weekend.
