Squaw Valley itself offers skiers 4,000 acres of skiable terrain over 6 peaks making it a great resort for skiers. It also offers a wide range of runs for skiers of all abilities to enjoy. The 30 chair lifts through the resort also make for easy access around the resort to the various ski areas including the Alpine Meadows.
With the 2 resorts combined, the total piste comes to an astonishing 6,000 acres.

Squaw Valley provides an excellent ski school service for the younger skiers in the resort from the age of 3 up to 12. With a unique 12,000 square ft. facility dedicated specifically to the resorts younger guests, complete with a full service rental shop, a private ski hill with a Pony Tow and two Magic Carpet lifts.

Ski passes grant holders access to the various ski areas within the Squaw Valley resort and after the recent coalition, the ski passes also offer skiers access to ski areas in the Alpine Meadows on 43 ski lifts
