Soll

Soll has long been popular with British beginners and intermediates, attracting both youths looking for fun and families looking for a quiet time.

The resort is in fact far from ideal for beginners, but when the snow is good the SkiWelt can be a great area for intermediates who like easy cruising. Many visitors are surprised by the small size of the village (there arent many shops) and the long trek out to the slopes.

You may prefer to stay near the lifts and trek into the village in the evening. Or you may prefer, like us, to stay in one of the other SkiWelt resorts Ellmau along the valley (which has its own chapter) or Westendorf over the hill (covered at the end of this chapter).

Our winter sports arena nestles at the foot of Hohe Salve mountains! Enjoy truly great skiing and authentic Tyrolean hospitality! Austria s largest connected ski area, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, boasts a total 279 km of immaculate ski runs (of which 210 km have artificial snow cover) and over 90 modern ski lifts. Experience truly unlimited winter fun!

Resort facilities: Skiing and sledding by day and night, winter hiking trails, cross-country skiing, curling, PANORAMA swimming baths (indoor pool with hot outdoor pool, sauna, massage parlour, tanning studio...), horse-drawn sleigh rides, paragliding, squash, bowling, camping, guest kindergarten etc.
