The Marie family, who have been hoteliers for four generations, opened the hotel in 1955 when the resort began to expand and it soon gained a reputation for its excellent cuisine which it still holds today. Partially destroyed by fire in the 80s, the hotel was then rebuilt to retain its traditional Savoyarde style but include more modern amenities. The bar is popular and the overall atmosphere is very relaxed and convivial. In the past couple of years, the hotel has again undergone renovation with the entrance and bar area being extended - and the bar with its new "lounge" look is a great place to relax.
