Having gained its fourth star, this delightful chalet-style hotel has recently expanded to offer more suites and rooms but has not lost its original charm and atmosphere which is more relaxed than some of the other four stars. Built in 1938, the chalet was transformed into a hotel in the 60s retaining much of the architecture of the old building. The hotel restaurant is very attractive, candle-lit, with delicious food and there is also a chance to sample the more regional fare on offer in their neighbouring restaurant. There is a cosy bar with big sofas and a roaring fire as well as a small spa area to relax in.
