This charming B&B is run by the Deiss family who also run the popular Taverne d’Alsace below the hotel (where you can take a half-board option if required). Built on the site of the old Taverne which opened in 1955, it was relaunched in 1994 and expanded in 2004. It is very attractive with lots of wood and pretty fabrics used throughout. Old photographs and mementos of Val d’Isere adorn the walls. Further rooms and suites were added in a similar style — as well as the addition of a bigger sitting room with fireplace and bar for residents. The breakfast room is delightful and overlooks the bustle of the main street.
