Run for many years by the Bertoli family, the Christiania is one of the most popular hotels in Val dIsere and rather more formal than its rival, the Blizzard. The hotel has a very airy, open feel to it as the main reception area links to the bar and lounge - recently redecorated - which in turn leads to the dining area opening on to a large and recently extended sunny terrace where lunch is served in the Spring. There is an excellent spa and pool.
